Again, titled “Waiting on Baby Head” when in fact, the wait is over because she has already entered this world! In this case the blame was not due to me falling behind, but the fact that baby decided to come 4 days after our session. Talk about just in time! Adella was so proud of becoming a big sister and I am sure she is doing great with her new role! So happy for this family of four and the adventures they have ahead of them <3
Although this is titled “Waiting on Baby Nicholson” the wait is over. I am however way too slow at getting my blog posts updated 🙂 Baby Nicholson arrived a few days ago and I can’t wait to meet him in a week! But before I get ahead of myself, I HAVE to brag about how adorable these two are together and how stunningly Blaine pulls off pregnancy. She is radiant with her motherly glow and Levi’s adoration for her and his son ties this adorable little family together <3
MY VERY FIRST BLOG POST 🙂
What better way to start my blog off than with one of my beautiful dear friend’s maternity session. Since starting this journey of mine in photography I caught myself enjoying my outdoor sessions much more than indoors due to my lack of a studio. Then came the reality of living in Illinois with our outrageously cold weather for at least 4 months out of the year, forcing me to find an alternative to shooting only outdoors. Little did I know that with a little brainstorming and a few failed attempts that I would expand my availability during the winter months and actually fall in love with the challenges of shooting indoors. If you haven’t noticed by now I love all things neutral and lace because of its timeless and natural beauty, mix that with the gorgeous lighting in the sunroom of my very own home and I have created the look I never knew I wanted! I now hope to be able to book more of these type of sessions in the future. Thanks for being my guinea pig Whit and dealing with my overly excited shrieks during this entire session. Again, you have the most beautiful family and I cant wait to meet this sweet little guy when he decides to enter the world!
