Cindy + Kevin shared a very traditional and special day together. They started the day off with a traditional Chinese tea, which I had never been part of before so I had to do my research beforehand to know what to expect! It was such a special and fun celebration highlighting their Chinese heritage! I may not be 100% correct, but this is what I gathered from the event. First the bridesmaids give the groom challenges to do to “win” his bride.  Once he completes these tasks his bride is then handed over to him. The tea ceremony is a way for the bride and groom to show their gratitude to their parents for all the years of love and care. Tea is shared between the bride and groom and their parents and then gifts are received. It was just such a neat experience to be a part of and started their happy day off in a unique way.
